The Montmorency falls

Located 15 minutes away from Old Quebec, the park of the Montmorency falls is a spectacular historical site. The waterfall dominates the landscape with its 83-meter heigh. First of all, you can board the cable car and enjoy a magnificent view of the landscape, but also a superb view of the St. Lawrence River, Île d’Orléans and Quebec City.

There is also the Manoir Montmorency. It burnt in 1993 but was rebuilt in 1994 to retain its English architecture. Feel free to visit it and discover its history, it is worth it.

For the more sporty, you can also walk the 487 steps of the panoramic staircase, which allows you to see the fall from all angles. Don’t worry, you will be able to take some well-deserved breaks. During your tour you will inevitably pass on the Suspended Bridge, a must with the fall just under your feet, the crush is guaranteed.
